The 1.2m x 0.6m Laptev Rug in green is a rectangular wool and cotton rug measuring 120 x 60 cm. Its compact footprint adds a defined layer of colour and texture beside furniture, beneath a small table or along a hallway without taking up a large area.
Wool and cotton rug construction
Wool and cotton combine to give this rug a natural textile surface with a tactile feel underfoot. The material mix brings visual texture to a room, helping a plain floor feel more considered without adding another bulky furnishing.
The green colour can introduce a grounded accent beside wood furniture, neutral upholstery or other natural shades. Use it to bring definition to a compact seating corner, bedroom side or entrance area.
Compact floor coverage for smaller spaces
The rectangular format suits areas where a larger rug would crowd the layout. Place it beside a sofa, at the side of a bed, beneath a small occasional table or in a narrow passage to create a clear visual zone.
In a condominium, apartment or rented home, its smaller footprint makes repositioning straightforward when you change the room arrangement. Measure the intended floor area first so the rug sits with the amount of surrounding space you want.
Everyday placement around the home
Use the rug as a finishing layer in living rooms, bedrooms, hallways or home-office corners. It can separate a small working or reading spot from the rest of an open room without adding shelves or screens.
The 60 cm width works particularly well alongside furniture or in front of a narrow console. Keep surrounding doors, chair legs and walking routes clear when choosing its position.
Ready to place when unpacked
This rug arrives fully assembled, so there is no construction or fitting work before use. Unroll or lay it flat in the selected position, then arrange nearby furniture around its edges.
Its 1.04 kg weight allows one person to move it while testing different placements. That makes it easier to compare positions before settling on the final layout.
Simple rug care in a Malaysian home
Vacuum or gently brush the surface regularly to remove loose dust and everyday debris. For spills, blot promptly with a clean, absorbent cloth rather than rubbing the area, which can spread moisture through the fibres.
In humid conditions, allow the rug and surrounding floor to air whenever possible. Keep it away from standing water and make sure the floor beneath is dry before laying it down again.
