The 1.7m X 2.4m Vigur Rug is a grey-brown wool and polyester floor rug measuring 170 × 240 cm. Its generous rectangular surface helps define a seating area, add a softer layer beneath furniture, and bring a grounded colour contrast to a living room, bedroom, dining area or home office.
Wool and polyester construction
The rug combines wool with polyester to create a mixed-fibre floor covering with a textured, home-friendly feel. The grey-brown colour sits between cool grey and warm brown, making it easier to coordinate with timber furniture, neutral upholstery and darker accents.
Use the colour to visually connect separate pieces in an open-plan condo or house. It can also soften the appearance of hard flooring without requiring a permanent change to the room.
170 × 240 cm floor coverage
The rectangular surface gives you room to arrange furniture around a defined centre point. In a living room, it can sit beneath a coffee table with surrounding seating; in a bedroom or study, it can create a clear zone beneath furniture while leaving an edge of flooring visible.
Before ordering, measure the full area where the rug will sit, including door swings, walkways and furniture legs. Marking the outline with masking tape is a simple way to see how the footprint will look in your room.
Uses in living, dining and work areas
Place it in front of a sofa to bring the seating arrangement together, or use it under a dining table to frame the table and chairs. A home office can also use the rug to separate the desk area visually from the rest of the room.
Keep enough clearance for chairs, cabinet doors and nearby walkways to move without catching the rug edge. The neutral grey-brown finish can work alongside existing wood, fabric and painted surfaces rather than requiring a complete room redesign.
What arrives in the pack
The purchase includes one Vigur rug. It arrives fully assembled, so there is no frame, fitting or construction step before it can be positioned in the room.
Unroll or lay it out on a clean, level floor and allow the surface to settle naturally after unpacking. Arrange furniture once you have confirmed the rug is centred and does not obstruct doors or regular walking routes.
Day-to-day rug care
Vacuum regularly using a suitable setting for rugs, and deal with loose dirt before it is walked deeper into the fibres. For spills, blot promptly with a clean cloth rather than rubbing, which can spread moisture through the pile.
In a humid Malaysian home, keep the rug on a dry floor and maintain airflow around the room. Avoid leaving damp items on its surface, and lift or move furniture occasionally so the surrounding floor can be cleaned and aired.

Will this rug fit beneath my sofa and coffee table?
Measure the intended seating zone and mark out 170 × 240 cm on the floor before ordering. Check that the marked area leaves clear access around doors, walkways and furniture.
What rooms can I use this rug in?
Its rectangular floor coverage can be used to define a living-room seating area, frame a dining setting, soften a bedroom zone or separate a home-office area. Keep chair movement, door clearance and walking routes in mind when positioning it.
How should I care for it in a humid home?
Vacuum regularly, blot spills promptly and keep the rug on a dry floor. Allow airflow around the room, avoid placing damp items on it, and move furniture occasionally so the floor beneath can be cleaned and aired.
Does it require assembly?
No assembly is required. It arrives fully assembled and can be placed after you have prepared a clean, level area.
