Getting counter chair height right

Measure from the floor to the underside of your counter or tabletop. Counter chairs suit surfaces about 90 cm high, with seats typically 60 cm to 66 cm high; a bar top of about 105 cm needs a taller bar chair instead. Overall heights in this range, from about 87 cm to 98 cm, include the backrest, so check the seat height in the product dimensions, or ask on WhatsApp if it is not shown.

Allow about 60 cm of counter length per chair, measured centre to centre, and leave room behind for each chair to slide out. Widths run from about 45 cm to 52 cm, so three chairs fit along roughly 180 cm of counter.

Splashes happen at a kitchen counter, so materials matter.
