The Slug Wall Lamp is a metal wall light measuring L 13 × W 61 × H 40 cm, finished in copper and matt black. Its elongated form brings focused lighting to a wall while adding a defined feature above or beside furniture in a living room, bedroom, hallway, dining area or home office.
Metal construction and copper matt black finish
The lamp is made from metal with a copper and matt black finish. This combination gives the fitting a clear two-tone appearance that can sit alongside timber, painted walls, glass, fabric upholstery and other metal details in the room.
The finish provides a visual focal point without requiring a large piece of furniture or wall decoration. Use it where the wall needs both lighting and a stronger vertical or horizontal feature.
Wall lighting for everyday rooms
As a wall lamp, Slug attaches to a wall to add light without taking up floor or tabletop space. It can be used beside a sofa, near a bed, along a hallway or above a console, helping keep walkways and working surfaces clear.
Its 61 cm length gives the fitting a noticeable presence on the wall, while the 13 cm depth helps you plan its position around nearby furniture and circulation space. Measure the area around the proposed fixing point so doors, cupboards and seating can operate comfortably.
Planning the installation position
Before ordering, compare the full L 13 × W 61 × H 40 cm footprint with your available wall area. Mark the intended position with removable tape or paper to see how the lamp relates to skirting boards, shelves, mirrors and other wall features.
The lamp is supplied fully assembled, so there is no product assembly step before positioning it. You still need to plan the wall location and any installation work required for your home.
What arrives in the pack
This saves time spent joining the lamp components and lets you concentrate on choosing its position and arranging the surrounding room.
At 1.18 kg, the fitting is light enough to account for during wall-position planning, but the fixing method should suit your wall construction and the installation location. Follow appropriate installation practice for plasterboard, brick, concrete or other wall surfaces.
Keeping the lamp clean in a Malaysian home
Dust the metal surface regularly with a soft, dry cloth to keep the copper and matt black finish clear. For marks, use a lightly damp cloth and dry the surface afterwards rather than leaving moisture on the metal.
In humid rooms, allow the fitting and surrounding wall to remain dry and well ventilated. Avoid abrasive pads, harsh chemicals and excessive water, as these can affect the appearance of the finish.
