The Slug Glossy Copper Pendant Lamp is a metal pendant light measuring Ø 18 cm, with a copper finish that brings a focused hanging light point to a dining table, kitchen counter, bedside area or compact home office. Its small round format helps you plan a pendant arrangement around the available ceiling and furniture space.
Metal pendant lamp with a copper finish
The shade and body use metal with a glossy copper colour. This gives the fitting a defined surface that can sit alongside timber furniture, neutral walls, dark cabinetry or other warm-toned details without adding another bulky piece to the room.
The copper finish is especially useful when you want the light fitting to act as a visible furnishing detail rather than disappear into the ceiling. Its compact form keeps the visual focus around the hanging light point.
Where to use an Ø 18 cm pendant light
Use the pendant above a small dining table, breakfast counter, bedside table or work surface where a hanging light can mark out one particular area. It can also be grouped with matching or complementary pendants when a wider surface needs several light points.
Before choosing the position, compare the lamp’s diameter with the tabletop, counter width and nearby cupboards. Leave enough clearance for people to sit, stand and move around without the fitting interrupting normal use of the room.
Ceiling installation and planning
As a pendant lamp, this fitting is intended to hang from a ceiling point, so plan the position around the room’s existing electrical connection and the furniture below it. In a rental or completed home, measure the cable drop and ceiling arrangement available at the installation point before scheduling fitting work.
The lamp arrives fully assembled, which removes shade assembly from your setup. A qualified electrician should handle the electrical connection and confirm that the ceiling point and wiring are suitable for the installation.
What arrives in the pack
You receive one Slug Glossy Copper Handle Pendant Lamp, supplied fully assembled. This means the lamp body is ready for installation rather than requiring you to put together separate shade sections at home.
The lamp weighs 1.107 kg, a useful figure to share with the installer when checking the ceiling point and planning the fitting process. Keep the packaging until the lamp has been inspected and its intended installation position has been confirmed.
Cleaning a copper-finish metal lamp
For routine care, switch off the power and allow the lamp to cool before cleaning. Dust the exterior with a soft, dry cloth; for marks, use a lightly damp cloth and dry the surface afterwards.
Avoid abrasive pads, harsh chemicals and excess water, which can affect the visible finish or enter the electrical fitting. In a humid Malaysian home, regular dry dusting and keeping moisture away from the fitting help maintain a clean appearance.
