The Rhodes Working Desk is an Oak laminated-board workstation measuring L 120 × W 60 × H 157 cm. It combines a broad working surface with an integrated hutch, drawer and lower cabinet, giving home offices, study corners and educational spaces a place to work while keeping books, files and supplies organised vertically.
Laminated board in an Oak finish
The desk uses laminated board with a warm Oak wood-grain finish. Its smooth surface gives you a practical area for writing, studying, using a laptop or arranging everyday office equipment, while the laminate can be wiped as part of normal home upkeep.
The Oak appearance works with neutral, wood-toned or contemporary interiors. It brings the visual warmth of timber into a condo, apartment or house without requiring a separate desktop and storage unit.
Hutch storage for books and supplies
The integrated hutch has two closed cabinets and open shelving compartments. Open sections keep frequently used books, stationery and display items visible, while the cabinets let you put away paperwork and smaller supplies when you want a tidier work area.
Vertical storage makes use of the wall-side space above the desk rather than taking up additional floor area. This can help organise a compact study corner where a separate bookcase would be difficult to place.
Drawer and adjustable-shelf cabinet
Below the desktop, a smooth-gliding drawer provides a nearby spot for pens, documents and smaller accessories. The bottom cabinet includes an adjustable shelf, allowing the internal space to be arranged around files, equipment or other items used at the desk.
Keeping these items below the work surface leaves the desktop available for current tasks. The closed storage also reduces visual clutter in shared rooms, bedrooms or living areas used for occasional work.
Cable management for a clearer desktop
A built-in cable management grommet gives power and device leads a dedicated route through the desk. Cables can be guided away from the front edge, helping keep the area around your keyboard, books or writing materials less crowded.
Before placing the desk, plan the position of nearby sockets and the direction your cables need to travel. This makes it easier to connect a monitor, laptop charger or other desktop equipment without crossing the main working area.
What comes in the pack and assembly
The Rhodes Working Desk is supplied as a KD, or knock-down, unit for assembly.
Before ordering, measure the intended route through doorways, lifts and stairwells as well as the final desk area. Allow clear floor space during assembly and identify the wall-facing side before positioning it.
Daily care in a Malaysian home
Dust the laminated surfaces with a soft, dry or lightly damp cloth, then wipe away moisture rather than leaving water around edges or joints. Use a mild household cleaner when needed and avoid abrasive pads that could mark the finish.
Keep the desk away from persistent leaks, standing water and direct heat. In humid conditions, allow air to circulate around the unit and store papers only after they are dry, helping the workspace remain easier to maintain.

Will this desk fit in a compact condo or apartment study area?
Plan for a clear area at least 120 cm wide and 60 cm deep, then allow additional room for the chair and for opening the drawer and cabinet. The hutch raises the overall height to 157 cm, so check the available wall height as well.
Can I use the Rhodes Working Desk for a laptop and monitor?
The 120 cm-wide desktop is designed for everyday desk activities such as laptop work, studying, writing and arranging office equipment. Plan the placement of larger monitors and accessories so they do not obstruct the cable grommet or access to the storage below.
What should I measure before ordering this desk?
Measure the proposed floor area, ceiling or wall height, chair clearance and the opening path through doors, lifts and stairwells. Also check the position of power sockets in relation to the cable route.
How do I care for the laminated board in humid weather?
Use a soft, lightly damp cloth for cleaning and dry the surfaces afterwards. Keep the desk away from standing water and persistent leaks, and leave space around it for air circulation.
Does the desk arrive assembled?
It arrives as a KD, or knock-down, unit for assembly. The set includes the workstation structure, integrated hutch, drawer, lower cabinet and adjustable shelf.
