The Mites Matt Black and Glossy Brass Pendant Lamp is a metal ceiling light measuring Ø 45 cm, with a two-tone finish that combines matt black and glossy brass. It brings a defined overhead light point to dining areas, kitchen counters, bedrooms, hallways or compact living spaces while adding contrast without taking up floor or table space.
Metal pendant lamp with a two-tone finish
The shade and fitting use metal, finished in matt black with glossy brass detailing. This pairing gives you a clear visual contrast: the black provides a calm, grounded outline, while the brass adds a reflective accent that can connect with warm-toned furniture, handles or decorative pieces.
Its rounded form works as a focused ceiling feature rather than a bulky floor-standing item. Use it to define a dining table, brighten a reading corner or give a hallway a more finished appearance.
Where to use a 45 cm pendant light
With a 45 cm diameter, this pendant can mark out a single zone in a condo, apartment or house. It can sit above a small dining table, beside a bed where ceiling lighting is preferred, or over a compact kitchen or work surface.
Before ordering, compare the lamp’s diameter with the ceiling area and the furniture below it. Leave enough clearance around doors, cabinets and walkways, and consider the ceiling height so the hanging light does not obstruct movement.
Ceiling installation and everyday use
As a pendant lamp, it is intended to be installed from a ceiling electrical point. A qualified electrician can connect it to the existing ceiling wiring and check that the mounting point and electrical supply are suitable for the installation.
The lamp arrives fully assembled, so there is no shade construction or frame assembly to complete before installation. The practical task is preparing the ceiling connection and choosing a hanging position that places the light where you need it.
What arrives in the pack
It arrives fully assembled, reducing the number of parts to organise when preparing it for ceiling installation.
Because the lamp is supplied as a completed fitting, measure the intended location before unpacking and make sure the ceiling point is accessible. This helps avoid choosing a position that conflicts with furniture, beams or cabinet doors.
Cleaning a metal pendant lamp
For routine care, switch off the light and allow it to cool before cleaning. Dust the metal surfaces with a soft, dry cloth; for marks, use a lightly damp cloth and dry the surface afterwards.
In a humid Malaysian home, keep moisture away from the ceiling connection and do not leave water on the finish. Avoid abrasive cloths, scouring products and strong chemicals, which can affect the matt black or glossy brass surfaces.

Will a 45 cm pendant lamp fit above my dining table?
Measure the ceiling area above the table and compare it with the lamp’s diameter. Also check the planned hanging height, table position and nearby walkways so the fitting does not interfere with movement.
Where can I use this pendant lamp?
It can be used as an overhead light point above a dining area, kitchen counter, bedroom, hallway, living area or home office. The best position depends on the existing ceiling connection and the space available around the fitting.
Does the pendant lamp need assembly?
It arrives fully assembled. Ceiling connection and electrical installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
How should I care for the lamp in a humid home?
Dust it with a soft, dry cloth and wipe marks with a lightly damp cloth before drying the surface. Keep moisture away from the electrical connection and avoid abrasive or strong cleaning products.
What should I measure before ordering?
Measure the ceiling space, the area below the intended position and the distance from the fitting to nearby doors, cabinets and walking routes. Check that the existing ceiling point can support the installation and that the hanging height suits the room.
