The Gerbil Matt Black and Matt Antique Brass Floor Lamp is a metal floor-standing light measuring L 26 × W 21 × H 158.5 cm. Its slim upright form places light beside a sofa, armchair, console or reading spot while the two-tone finish adds a defined black-and-brass detail to the room.
Metal floor lamp with a two-tone finish
The lamp is made from metal and finished in matt black with matt antique brass detailing. This combination gives the light a clear visual outline without introducing a patterned or highly reflective surface, so it can sit alongside timber furniture, neutral upholstery and other metal accents.
The tall, narrow profile uses vertical space rather than a wide footprint. In a condo, apartment or house, that makes it practical for placing beside seating or furniture where floor area needs to remain clear.
Floor-standing light for seating and living areas
Use the lamp beside a sofa, lounge chair, reading corner or console to bring a light source up from the floor. It can help define a seating zone in an open-plan living room or add illumination to a darker corner without using table space.
Before positioning it, consider the lamp's height in relation to nearby furniture and the location of your wall socket. Keep the base on a stable, level surface and leave enough surrounding clearance for people to walk past comfortably.
Slim dimensions for planning your floor space
The footprint is L 26 × W 21 cm, while the overall height is 158.5 cm. Measure the intended position from two directions, including the space needed beside adjoining furniture, so the base does not project into a walkway.
The upright height is worth checking against low ceilings, shelving, artwork and window coverings. Marking the measurements on the floor with masking tape can make it easier to judge the available space before ordering.
What arrives in the pack
This purchase includes one Gerbil Matt Black and Matt Antique Brass Floor Lamp. It arrives fully assembled, so there is no frame construction or fitting of the stand to complete before placing it in the room.
At 5.2 kg, it can be positioned once the location has been prepared, but using two people may make moving it through narrow doorways or around existing furniture easier.
Everyday care for a metal lamp
Dust the surface with a soft, dry cloth as part of normal cleaning. For marks, use a lightly damp cloth and dry the surface afterwards, keeping moisture away from electrical parts and connections.
In a humid Malaysian home, avoid leaving water or condensation on the metal. Do not use abrasive pads, harsh chemicals or soaking wet cloths, as these can affect the matt surface.

Will this floor lamp fit beside my sofa or armchair?
Measure a floor area at least L 26 × W 21 cm and check the available height up to 158.5 cm. Also allow clear space around the base so it does not obstruct a walkway or furniture movement.
Where can I use the Gerbil floor lamp?
Its floor-standing format suits a living room, reading corner, bedroom or hallway where you want a light source without occupying a table or console surface. Place it on a level floor near an appropriate power point.
Does the lamp require assembly?
No. It arrives fully assembled, so you can position it in the chosen area without building the stand first.
How should I care for the lamp in a humid home?
Dust it with a soft, dry cloth and wipe marks with a lightly damp cloth before drying the surface. Keep water away from electrical parts and avoid abrasive or harsh cleaning products.
What should I measure before ordering?
Measure the intended floor footprint, the height to the ceiling or nearby fittings, and the route through doors and around furniture. Check that the lamp can stand without narrowing a regular walking path.
