The Eddie Coffee Table is a 90 × 48 × 45 cm living-room table made from Malaysian Oak, MDF and veneer in Dark Chestnut. Its low rectangular surface gives you a practical place for drinks, books, remotes and everyday items in front of a sofa, while the compact footprint suits many condo, apartment and house seating areas.
Malaysian Oak, MDF and veneer construction
The table combines Malaysian Oak with MDF and veneer to create a wood-based surface and supporting structure. The Dark Chestnut finish brings a deeper timber tone to seating areas and can sit alongside sofas, armchairs and other wood furniture without adding another strong colour.
Use a coaster or tray beneath drinks and wipe spills promptly. This keeps moisture from sitting on the tabletop and helps preserve its appearance during daily use.
A practical surface for the seating area
The rectangular top provides room for items used while relaxing, such as cups, books, a phone, a remote control or a small serving tray. Its height is suited to use beside low lounge seating, keeping frequently handled items within reach without taking over the room.
Before ordering, map the tabletop footprint on your floor with masking tape or newspaper. Leave enough clearance for walking around the table and for sofa drawers, recliner footrests or cabinet doors to open fully.
Flat-packed home assembly
Eddie arrives flat-packed as a knock-down unit with fittings and instructions for assembly at home. The format makes it easier to carry through lifts, stairwells and narrower entrances before putting the table together in the room where it will be used.
Assemble it on a clean, level surface so parts stay supported while you work. Follow the supplied instructions in order and tighten the fittings once the frame is aligned.
Care for everyday use in a Malaysian home
Dust the table with a soft, dry or lightly damp cloth, then dry the surface rather than leaving moisture to evaporate on it. Avoid abrasive pads, harsh cleaners and standing water, which can mark or affect the wood-based surfaces.
Keep the table away from prolonged direct sunlight and do not place hot cookware directly on it. Using coasters, mats and a tray helps reduce heat, spills and scratches from routine living-room activities.
Planning the table around your furniture
Measure the available floor area, sofa height and access route before ordering. Compare the table's footprint with the distance between the sofa and television unit, and check that the assembled piece can be moved into position without blocking a main walkway.
The 9 kg weight allows the table to be repositioned during room planning, but lift it with another person when needed and avoid dragging it across the floor. Floor protectors can help reduce marks on hard flooring.
