The Carvin Rack & Easy Rack is a freestanding metal storage rack measuring W 35 × D 90 × H 185.5 cm. Its tall form gives you vertical shelving for organising household items, display pieces, books or supplies while using a defined footprint in a room, hallway, utility area or home office.
Metal shelving for vertical storage
The rack is made of metal, giving you an open shelving structure for arranging items across its height. Open levels keep stored belongings visible and accessible, so you can see what is available without opening doors or moving through a deep cabinet.
The black or white finish can be matched with existing furniture and room colours. Use baskets, boxes or trays on the shelves to group smaller belongings, while larger objects can remain easy to reach.
A defined footprint for rooms and passage areas
With a 35 × 90 cm footprint, the rack can be considered for a home office corner, a bedroom, a living room or a hallway where floor space needs to remain organised. Measure the available clearance carefully before positioning it.
The 185.5 cm height creates several vertical storage levels in one unit. Leave enough overhead and surrounding space to assemble and place the rack safely, and avoid blocking doors, windows, switches or walkways.
Open shelves for everyday organisation
Use the rack to separate categories such as books, decor, folded household textiles, pantry containers or work materials. Because the shelves are open, frequently used items can be taken out and returned quickly, reducing the need to search through closed storage.
In a rental or first home, it can help define storage zones without changing built-in cabinetry. It may also act as a visual divider between areas, provided the layout leaves a clear route around it.
Flat-packed assembly at home
The rack arrives flat-packed with fittings and instructions for knock-down assembly. This makes it easier to carry through a lift, doorway or stairwell before putting it together in the room where it will be used.
Set aside a clear floor area for assembly and prepare the required tools according to the instructions. Assemble it with the unit positioned on a protected surface, then move it into place once the structure is complete.
Cleaning and care in a humid home
Dust the metal surfaces regularly with a soft, dry or lightly damp cloth. For marks, use a mild cleaning solution and wipe the surface dry afterwards rather than leaving moisture on the rack.
Keep the rack away from persistent leaks, standing water and areas that remain wet after cleaning. Avoid abrasive pads and harsh chemicals that could mark the finish, and distribute stored items sensibly across the shelves.
