Baja 1 Seater Sofa

Baja 1 Seater Sofa is a sophisticated and airy seating solution designed to bring a touch of warm, architectural elegance to streamlined contemporary spaces. Piece features a robust exposed framework crafted from Solid Malaysian Oak in a luminous White Wash finish, highlighting the wood’s natural grain patterns and providing a bright, tranquil energy to the interior. Upholstery is wrapped in premium Baxmal Fabric in a refreshing Salmon tone, offering a soft, tactile surface that adds a sophisticated pop of color and a warm, inviting presence. Minimalist silhouette is accentuated by its smooth, uninterrupted lines and deep-seated ergonomic profile, engineered to provide an immersive and supportive seating experience. Sturdy framework features a rhythmic slatted backrest and wide armrests, ensuring a cohesive warm-toned palette and a sharp, authoritative presence. Its substantial W690mm width and SH440mm seat height provide an ample and comfortable platform.

The Baja 1 Seater Sofa is a single-seat lounge chair measuring W69 × D82 × H83.5 cm, with a 44 cm seat height, combining a White Wash Malaysian Oak frame with Salmon Baxmal Fabric upholstery. Its deep seat, broad arms and supportive back create a defined personal spot for reading, resting or conversation without taking the footprint of a full sofa.

Malaysian Oak frame and Baxmal Fabric upholstery

The exposed frame uses Solid Malaysian Oak in a White Wash finish, allowing the natural grain to remain part of the room’s visual texture. The wood structure gives the chair an architectural outline that works well with light timber, neutral walls and contemporary interiors.

Salmon Baxmal Fabric covers the seat and back, adding a soft surface and a measured colour accent. Together, the pale frame and warm upholstery can brighten a living room, bedroom corner, reading area or home office without relying on large decorative pieces.

Deep seat, armrests and slatted backrest

A deep-seated profile gives you room to settle back, while the 44 cm seat height provides a familiar sitting position for everyday lounging. Wide armrests give your arms a place to rest during reading, phone use or conversation.

The rhythmic slatted backrest adds visual structure behind the upholstered seat and keeps the design feeling open rather than bulky. This makes the chair useful as a standalone accent seat or as an additional place to sit beside a coffee table.

A single-seat footprint for living rooms and smaller spaces

At 69 cm wide and 82 cm deep, the Baja can occupy a dedicated corner without requiring the wall length of a two- or three-seat sofa. Measure the available floor area, doorway and route into the room before ordering, allowing extra clearance to carry and position the chair.

Use it beside a sofa, near a window or in a bedroom seating corner. The White Wash and Salmon combination can sit alongside timber furniture, woven textures and restrained contemporary decor while keeping the seating arrangement visually light.

Knock-down assembly and what comes in the pack

The sofa uses KD, or knock-down, construction, so it is assembled at home rather than handled as one fully built piece. This can make movement through entrances, lifts and narrower indoor routes more manageable; clear the assembly area and follow the supplied instructions step by step.

Plan for a clean, level surface during assembly so the frame can be aligned before use.

Everyday care in a Malaysian home

Keep the fabric free from loose dust with gentle, regular vacuuming using a suitable upholstery attachment. Deal with spills promptly by blotting rather than rubbing, and use care products according to their instructions on an inconspicuous area first.

In humid conditions, maintain airflow around the sofa and avoid placing it where moisture can remain trapped against walls or flooring. Wipe the oak frame with a soft, dry cloth and keep standing water away from the wood and upholstery.
