The 1.7m × 2.4m Selfoss rug is made from wool and viscose, with a Grey-Pink colourway and a rectangular floor size suited to defining a seating, dining or open-plan area. It gives a room a soft textile layer while helping visually group furniture in a Malaysian condo, apartment or house.

Wool and viscose construction

Wool and viscose combine natural fibre and a smooth, softly reflective yarn in one floor covering. This material mix brings texture underfoot and adds tonal variation as light moves across the surface.

The fibre blend gives the room a more layered appearance than a bare hard floor, helping sofas, coffee tables, dining furniture or bedroom pieces sit together as one arrangement.

Defining a seating or dining area

The rectangular format can be positioned beneath a sofa arrangement, coffee table or dining table to mark out a distinct zone within a larger room. This is useful in open-plan homes where furniture needs a clear visual boundary without adding another partition.

Before placing it, map the intended furniture footprint with masking tape or folded sheets. Leave enough surrounding floor to open doors, pull out chairs and walk around the arrangement comfortably.

Colour coordination for Malaysian interiors

Grey-Pink pairs a quiet grey base with a warmer pink accent, giving you a starting point for cushions, curtains, artwork or small decorative pieces. It can sit alongside neutral furniture while bringing a measured colour note to the room.

For a cohesive look, repeat one of the rug’s accent tones in a nearby soft furnishing rather than matching every item exactly. In rooms with strong daylight or warm lighting, view fabric and paint samples in the space before finalising the surrounding palette.

What arrives in the pack

Unroll it in the chosen room, allow it to settle on the floor and arrange furniture around it.

Its 16.2 kg weight means two people may find positioning easier, especially when moving it across a larger room or placing it beneath existing furniture. Clear the route first to reduce the chance of catching corners on furniture or doorways.

Everyday care in a humid home

Vacuum gently and regularly to remove loose dust before it settles into the pile. Deal with spills promptly by blotting with a clean, absorbent cloth rather than rubbing, which can spread moisture and disturb the fibres.

Keep the room aired when possible, particularly after wet weather or cleaning. Use a suitable rug underlay on a smooth floor to help keep the rug stable and to reduce direct contact with surface moisture; follow any care guidance supplied with the rug for deeper cleaning.
