Planning a modular sofa layout

Modules are about 80 to 100 cm deep and a typical module is around 94 cm wide, so sketch the arrangement on a floor plan before choosing a straight, L or V shape. Corner layouts take up far more floor than a straight row, so mark the outline with masking tape and walk around it first.

The appeal is flexibility: add an ottoman to stretch out your legs, move the corner unit when you rearrange, or split a set between two rooms later. Staying within one series keeps seat heights, depths and fabric consistent.

Most sets here use Power Fabric or Challis Fabric on MDF and LVL or Malaysian Oak frames; vacuum the joins between modules, where crumbs and dust collect, and line the pieces up again after cleaning. If you are unsure which combination fits, ask on WhatsApp with your room measurements.
