Chests of drawers with three to six drawers, tall and long dressers, and dressing tables with a stool, made in laminated board, Malaysian Oak or acacia, some with a mirror and mostly in oak and walnut tones.
Widths run from about 40 cm for a tall, narrow unit to 160 cm for a long, low dresser, and most are 40 to 45 cm deep. Leave about 80 to 90 cm of clear floor in front, so you can pull a drawer right out and still stand comfortably.
In a small bedroom, a tall dresser of up to about 180 cm holds plenty of folded clothes on a small footprint, while a wide, low one gives you a top for a mirror, a lamp or a small TV. For a dressing table, check that the stool slides fully underneath when not in use.
Laminated board resists stains and wipes clean, which suits a surface used for cosmetics and perfume. Models in acacia or Malaysian Oak with veneer bring real wood grain and more weight. Fix any tall dresser to the wall, especially in a home with young children.
