Rhoda Arm Chair

Rhoda Arm Chair is an expertly balanced seating solution designed to offer a more immersive and supportive experience for sophisticated dining or executive office settings. Piece features an integrated armchair architecture with seamless side supports, all anchored by a robust framework of Solid Malaysian Oak in a soft Natural finish. Upholstery is defined by a signature diamond-quilted texture across the backrest and seat, wrapped in premium Doublet Fabric in a refreshing Light Blue tone. Design maintains a clean, linear silhouette while the addition of structured arms provides an enhanced sense of enclosure and executive prestige. With its generous seat height and precisely engineered armrests, it serves as a comfortable yet authoritative building block for boutique boardrooms or high-end residential dining zones. Overall look harmonizes organic wood textures with intricate textile patterns, serving as a versatile centerpiece for spaces that prioritize material depth and ergonomic integrity.

The Rhoda Arm Chair is a dining and occasional executive chair measuring W 52 × D 60.5 × H 79 cm, with a 49 cm seat height. Its integrated arms, diamond-quilted Doublet Fabric upholstery and Malaysian Oak frame provide a supportive, structured seat for dining tables, study desks and boardroom-style settings.

Malaysian Oak frame and Doublet Fabric upholstery

The chair combines Malaysian Oak with Doublet Fabric. The wood frame brings visible timber character to the structure, while the fabric covers the seat and backrest for a softer contact surface during meals, reading or desk work.

A soft Natural finish with Light Blue upholstery creates a lighter, layered look for dining rooms, home offices and compact meeting areas. The Cocoa/Hale Navy version gives the same chair a deeper colour arrangement for interiors using stronger contrast.

Diamond-quilted backrest and seat

Diamond quilting runs across both the backrest and seat, adding a patterned textile surface rather than a plain upholstered finish. It gives the chair visual texture while keeping the overall form clean and linear.

The shaped back and enclosed sides create a more contained seating position than an armless dining chair. This makes it practical for longer conversations, meals or desk sessions where you want arm support and a defined place to sit.

Armchair proportions for dining and desk use

The integrated arms provide side support when you sit down or stand up, while the 49 cm seat height places the chair at a familiar dining-chair level. Use it at a dining table with enough clearance beneath the tabletop for the armrests.

Its upright profile also suits a home office, study corner or small boardroom arrangement. Before positioning it, measure the table or desk height and the gap between neighbouring chairs so the arms can move in and out without catching.

What arrives in the pack

This chair is supplied as a built-up piece, so it arrives ready to place rather than requiring home assembly. You can position it after checking the floor path, doorway width and the space beside the table or desk.

The finished chair includes the armchair frame, upholstered seat and backrest. Pair it with a dining table, writing desk or meeting table whose height and leg layout leave room for the chair arms.

Everyday care in a Malaysian home

Dust the Malaysian Oak and fabric regularly with a soft, dry cloth or brush attachment. Deal with spills promptly using a lightly damp cloth, then allow the upholstery to dry fully; avoid soaking the fabric or leaving moisture around the timber joints.

Keep the chair away from prolonged direct sun, standing water and strong heat sources. In humid rooms, maintain airflow and wipe condensation or dampness quickly to help keep the wood and upholstery clean between deeper care.
