The Slug Matt Black Wall Lamp is a metal wall-mounted light measuring Ø 12 × H 15 cm, finished in matt black. Its compact round form adds focused wall lighting without taking up floor or table space, making it practical beside a bed, in a hallway, or on a living room wall where a smaller fitting is useful.

Metal construction and matt black finish

The lamp is made from metal and finished in matt black. This gives the fitting a simple, defined appearance that can sit alongside light or dark furniture, timber finishes and other black details in a room.

Its compact shape keeps the wall area visually clear while adding a functional lighting point. Use it where a larger wall fitting would feel too prominent, such as beside a bedside table or along a narrow passage.

Wall lighting for compact spaces

A wall lamp attaches to a wall rather than standing on a surface, so it helps keep bedside tables, consoles and hallway shelves available for everyday items. The size suits smaller areas where you want lighting close to the wall without adding a bulky feature.

Place it beside a bed for reading or near an entryway to give the wall a useful lighting role. Plan the position around your existing electrical connection and the direction in which you want light to fall.

Where to position the lamp

Before installation, measure the available wall area and compare it with the lamp’s overall dimensions. Leave enough clearance around the fitting for the wall, switch or electrical connection, nearby furniture and comfortable access for cleaning.

In a bedroom, consider the height in relation to the mattress and bedside table. In a hallway or living area, check that the lamp does not project into a walking route or interfere with doors, shelving and artwork.

What arrives in the pack

The Slug Matt Black Wall Lamp arrives fully assembled, so there is no lamp-body assembly to complete before arranging its position. You can concentrate on confirming the wall location and preparing the installation point.

The lamp is marked CE. Have any electrical connection or wall installation carried out using the appropriate method for your home and existing wiring.

Cleaning a metal wall lamp

For routine care, switch off the light and allow it to cool before wiping the surface with a soft, dry cloth. This removes everyday dust without introducing moisture around the electrical fitting.

In a humid Malaysian home, keep the surface dry and wipe away condensation or splashes promptly. Avoid abrasive pads and strong cleaning chemicals, as these can mark the matt finish.
